Overview
Brisbane Airport (BNE) is the third busiest airport in Australia for international and domestic flights. The airport is located 13km from Brisbane CBD. The airport can be accessed via Car, Taxi, Bus Services and Air Train. There are two terminals at Brisbane Airport, the International Terminal and the Domestic Terminal.
International Terminal
The International Terminal is divided into 4 Levels named 1 to 4.
Level 1 - Airline, Baggage Handlers & Tourism Operator Offices
Level 2 - Arrivals and Concourse; Level 3 - Departure Lounge
Level 4 - Departures Check In.
Check-in for all airlines are located on Level 4, after check-in proceed through the Yellow Arches to Security screening and then proceed to Level 3 which is the departures lounge. There is also a large array of duty free, retail stores, cafes and bars on Level 3 and Level 4.
The following international airlines operate from Brisbane Airport Aircalin, Airlines PNG, Air New Zealand, Air Niugini, Air Pacific, Air Vanuatu, Cathay Pacific Airways, China Airlines, Emirates, Etihad Airways, Eva Air, Japan Airlines International, Korean Air, Malaysia Airlines, Pacific Blue, Royal Brunei Airlines, Singapore Airlines, Solomon Airlines, Thai Airways International, Virgin Blue (International), Sky Air World, Qantas Airways and OzJet.
Domestic Terminal
The Domestic Terminal is divided into two levels. Upon arrival after check-in proceed to level 2 for departures. The following domestic airlines that operate from Brisbane Airport include Qantas, Virgin Blue, Jetstar, Regional Express (REX) and MacAir.
Access Brisbane Airport by Car and Taxi
Brisbane Airport is located 13km from Brisbane’s CBD, it should take approximately 20 minutes drive however times may vary depending on traffic conditions and time of travel.

Taxi’s are available at Brisbane Airport. There are taxi ranks located outside the Domestic Terminal and on Level 2 of the International Terminal. Fares are approximately $40 to Brisbane CBD, however this may vary, always check with the driver before setting off to get an idea of the cost.
Access Brisbane Airport by Public Transport
Brisbane has a Train service named AirTrain that operates from Brisbane CBD and the Gold Coast. Services generally run between 6am and 8pm everyday.
The Brisbane CBD to Brisbane Airport service stops at Southbank, South Brisbane, Roma Street, Central Brunswick, St Bowen Hills, Eagle Junctio, International Terminal and Domestic Terminal.
The Gold Coast to Brisbane Airport service stops at Robina, Nerang, Helensvale, Coomera, Ormeau, Beenleigh, Loganlea, Coopers Plains, International Terminal and Domestic Terminal.
Brisbane Airport Car Parking
All car parking is located close to the terminals by a very short walk and open 24 hours a day. Cash, Eftpos or Credit Cards are accepted at the exit booth upon leaving. Alternatively auto paystations can be used to pay prior to leaving to save time.
