Cairns International Airport (CNS) is the sixth busiest airport in Australia for international and domestic flights. The airport is located 7km from Cairns CBD. The airport can be accessed via Car, Taxi, and Shuttle Bus Services. There are two terminals at Cairns Airport, the International Terminal and the Domestic Terminal.
International Terminal and Airlines
The International Terminal at Cairns airport is serviced by the following airlines. Airfast Indonesia, Air New Zealand, Air Niugini, Airlines PNG, Cathay Pacific, Continental Airlines, Korean Air, Macair Airlines and Jetstar Airways (Jetstar also serve Domestic.).
Domestic Terminal and Airlines
The Domestic Terminal at Cairns airport is serviced by the following airlines. Aero Tropics Air Services, QantasLink, Jetstar Airways (Jetstar also serve International.), Regional Pacific Airlines (REX), Skytrans Airlines, Vincent Aviation and Virgin Blue.

Access Cairns Airport by Public Transport
Australia Coach runs Shuttle Bus services to Cairns CBD and Hotels. Sun Palm Express Coaches run services to Northern Beaches, Palm Cove, Port Douglas and Cape Tribulation. Both Australia Coach and Sun Pam Express Coaches are located at the arrivals area in both the International and Domestic Terminals.
Cairns Airport Car Parking
Both short term and long term parking are located opposite the terminal. Tickets must be paid at automated machines before leaving.
