Overview
Sydney Airport (SYD) is based in the suburb of Masot and is the busiest airport in Australia. Sydney airport is located approximately 8km from Sydney CBD. The airport has three runways, one more than any other international airport in Australia and can be access by car, train, taxi or bus. (The airport is also know as Kingsford Smith International Airport.)
Sydney Airport T1 International Terminal
Terminal 1 is for International flights and is open 24 hours a day every day of the week, although retail outlet times will vary.
The international airlines operating from Sydney Airport Terminal 1 are Aerolineas Argentinas, Air Calin, Air Canada, Air China, Air France, Air Mauritius, Air New Zealand, Air Niugini, Air Pacific, Air Tahiti Nui, Air Vanuatu, Asiana Airlines, British Airways, Cathay Pacific, China Airlines, China Eastern, China Southern, Emirates, Etihad Airways, Freedom Air, Garuda Indonesia, Hawaiian Airlines, Japan Airlines, JALways, Jet Airways, Jetstar International, Korean Air, LanChile, Malaysia Airlines, Pacific Blue, Philippine Airlines, Polynesian Blue, Qantas, Royal Brunei Airlines, Singapore Airlines, South African Airways, Thai Airways, United Airlines, Vietnam Airlines, Virgin Atlantic and Viva Macau.
Sydney Airport T2 Domestic Terminal
The domestic airlines operating from Sydney Airports T2 Domestic terminal are Aeropelican (Domestic), Air Link, Big Sky Express, Jetstar Airways (Domestic), National Jet Systems (Domestic), Ozjet (Domestic), Qantas (Domestic QF1600 and above) and QantasLink, Regional Express (REX), and Virgin Blue.
Sydney Airport T3 Qantas Terminal
The Qantas T3 terminal is only serviced by Qantas for the flights Qantas QF0400 to QF1599.
Access Sydney Airport by Car and Taxi
Sydney Airport is located 8km from Sydney CBD. The airport is accessed via the M1 motorway.

All terminals have sheltered taxi ranks with helpful supervisors. The approximate cost from Sydney Airport to Sydney City is about $50.
Access Sydney Airport by Public Transport
The easiest way in and out of Sydney Airport on public transport is via the Airport Link train service. The entry to the domestic rail station is situated on the arrivals level between T2 and T3. The entry to the international rail station is positioned at the north most end of T1 on the arrivals level. The station are located beneath the terminals, lifts or escalators will take you down into the stations.
The Airport Link train links directly to the city centre in approximately 10 to 15 minutes, this will get take you to the City Circle stations. These stations are Central, Town Hall, Wynyard, Circular Quay, St James and Museum. If you want to change onto the suburban network then you will need to alight at Central .
Sydney Buses has routes between Bondi Juntion and Burwood which pick up at International T1 Terminal and Domestic T3 Terminal. These bus stops are located on the arrivals level of T1 and T3. (Bus is route 400)
Sydney Airport Car Parking
Sydney airport has separate car parking for both domestic and international terminals. Each one has an array of options.
Short Term Parking for Domestic Terminals Multi-Story Car Parking is located close to Terminal 2 and Terminal 3 buildings, and within walking distance.
Short Term Parking for International Terminals is provided at the main car park next to the International Terminal.

Long Term Car Parking for Domestic Terminals is located a distance from the Airport therefore free shuttle bus operates to and from the Domestic Terminals. The shuttle bus operates from approximately 3am to Midnight every day.
Long Term Car Parking for International Terminals is provided at the main car park next to the International Terminal.
